The belts run 16-18 hours a day \/ 6 days a week. A breakdown during their production schedule has the potential of completely shutting the line down causing thousands of dollars of lost through-put.<\/li>\n<li>The average belt life of a properly installed 2 Ply Mono-filament urethane impression top belt is 8 to 10 months.<\/li>\n<li>Average Spiral Laced belt life is 4-6 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>High maintenance costs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 ply Impression-top urethane belts average install time \u2013 3 to 4 hours.<\/li>\n<li>Spiral Laced spare belt is kept in stock just in case the endless belt tears unexpectedly.<\/li>\n<li>Because of the aged equipment, pulleys and take-up rollers need to be adjusted weekly to track the belt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Default\"><strong>Safety concerns<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fibers and plastic can contaminate the final product.<\/li>\n<li>Operator adjusting the belt with hands and or by using improper tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Solution:\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"-\"><strong>Volta Homogenous Reinforced Flat Belt with ITO50 Textured Top &amp; Endless Bias Splice.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Savings\/Maintenance costs <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Belt was installed on May 20<sup>th<\/sup> \/ 2020 (Still Running) and hasn\u2019t required replacement or use of a spare.
