Volta Belting is a global manufacturer of high-performance conveyor belting solutions, specializing in hygienic and food-safe conveyor technologies for the food processing industry. Our solutions are widely used by food manufacturers, OEM machine builders, and industrial processing companies worldwide.<\/p>

We are currently looking for a Japan-based Sales Manager to support and expand our activities in the Japanese market in close cooperation with our local business structure and regional team.<\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

  • Develop and expand business relationships with food manufacturers, OEM machine builders, system integrators, and distribution partners across Japan.<\/li>
  • Promote Volta\u2019s hygienic conveyor belting solutions and identify applications where our products can improve production efficiency, hygiene, reliability, and operational performance.<\/li>
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision makers within the food processing industry.<\/li>
  • Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion activities in Japan.<\/li>
  • Work closely with customers to understand production processes, operational challenges, and application requirements.<\/li>
  • Coordinate technical and commercial activities together with Volta\u2019s regional team, distributors, and global support functions.<\/li>
  • Support product presentations, technical discussions, trials, and commercial negotiations.<\/li>
  • Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, and industry events related to food processing and industrial automation.<\/li>
  • Maintain structured communication and reporting regarding market activities, customer developments, and business opportunities.<\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/strong><\/p>

    • Experience in technical sales, business development, or application sales within one or more of the following industries:
      • Food processing machinery<\/li>
      • Conveyor systems<\/li>
      • Packaging machinery<\/li>
      • Industrial automation<\/li>
      • Hygienic production equipment<\/li>
      • Related industrial solutions<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Strong understanding of food manufacturing environments and industrial production processes.<\/li>
      • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, or industrial end users.<\/li>
      • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.<\/li>
      • Consultative and solution-oriented sales approach.<\/li>
      • Ability to work independently while coordinating with international teams.<\/li>
      • Business-level Japanese and workable English communication skills.<\/li>
      • Willingness to travel within Japan as required.<\/li><\/ul>

        Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>

        • Experience related to hygienic conveyor applications or food production lines.<\/li>
        • Experience working with international companies or overseas business activities.<\/li>
        • Technical background in engineering, industrial systems, or manufacturing-related fields.<\/li><\/ul>
