Incline conveyor<\/p>\n

Challenge:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The customer used plied belts with glued cleats. Within 6 months, product sticking to the belt and tracking issues caused edge fray and cleat breakage. Stretching and elongation became an issue as well.
\nAfter 3 years they sought an easy replacement with a better solution.<\/p>\n

Additional costs:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Extended sanitation time was needed for cleaning the belt surfaces.
\n\u2022 Scheduled maintenance time was needed to \u201cshave and stitch\u201d the belt.<\/p>\n

Safety concerns:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fibers from the fraying belt edge and parts from the broken and loose cleat material could potentially contaminate the final product.<\/p>\n
