Roughly, La = Li plus twice the belt thickness multiplied by \u03a0 (pi). The Lp is a dimension that is halfway between La and Li. For thicker belts including profiles, it is critical to specify how the belt was measured and a mistake can be the difference between a belt working and not working. We recommend measuring carefully when the belt is not under tension.
