Job Purpose
The Marketing Specialist performs a broad range of Marketing functions. This role plays a key part in developing and implementing marketing plans aimed at building brand awareness, promoting products, and driving business growth.
The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical professional with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, marketing principles, and industry best practices.
The Marketing Specialist must be comfortable generating ideas, managing multiple projects, and contributing to both strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive onsite to work location prepared to be productive, knowledgeable, and engaging.

- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and Sales teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, digital platforms, email, B2B, etc..)
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
- Work safe always. Follow all required safety guidelines. Practice awareness and prevention and follow all safety and incident reporting procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
- Bilingual, (English, Spanish) REQUIRED
- Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Ad words etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) a plus
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
- 2 years previous experience in a Marketing Specialist role or other relevant experience
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, mobile devices.
This company also operates in a warehouse and fabrication facility environment.
While performing the duties of this job, all employees should abide by all safety standards set forth by the location and utilize protective equipment if required.
This position may require occasional travel.

While performing the duties of this job, the role requires the ability to move throughout a manufacturing or production facility, including walking, standing, bending and navigating around equipment and workstations.
May require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. Regular use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to use standard office equipment (e.g., computers, tablets). Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Visual precision is essential when analyzing processes, inspecting materials, or reading technical documents. This role requires frequent verbal communication with cross-functional teams in noisy environments.
Must be able to hear and respond to audible signals/alarms.

Reporting & Collaboration
This position reports to the General Manager. This position does not directly supervise any employees.
