For more than 60 years, Volta Belting Technology has been a global leader in homogeneous belting solutions for the food industry. Since our establishment in 1965, we have earned the trust of customers worldwide through our commitment to innovation, quality, food safety and reliable performance.
Building on this strong foundation, Volta has launched an ambitious strategic plan to double the company’s sales by 2030. Our strategy combines organic growth—through innovation, market expansion, and closer customer partnerships—with inorganic growth through carefully selected acquisitions and strategic collaborations.
I am pleased to share that this strategy is already delivering strong results, with Volta continuing to achieve double-digit growth. This momentum reflects the dedication of our teams worldwide, the loyalty of our customers and partners, and our ability to translate market needs into valuable solutions.
A significant milestone in our journey was reached in July 2026 with Volta’s acquisition of Knopp Fördertechnik, a well-known German provider of belting solutions in the DACH region. This acquisition represents an important strategic step in expanding Volta’s presence among food-industry OEMs and strengthening our capabilities in advanced conveying applications.
Knopp’s patented Groove technology offers an innovative off-tracking belting solution for applications using small-diameter pulleys. By combining Knopp’s expertise and regional presence with Volta’s global reach, technology, and homogeneous belting portfolio, we will be able to offer customers an even broader range of high-performance solutions.
Technology & Innovation will remain at the heart of Volta’s growth. During the coming months, we will introduce several new and innovative belting solutions at major industry events across the United States, Europe, and Asia. These launches will demonstrate how Volta continues to address our customers’ evolving challenges while setting new benchmarks for hygienic design, performance, and operational efficiency.
Our customer focus extends beyond the solutions we provide. We will continue investing in the knowledge and professional capabilities of our business partners worldwide through the Volta Academy platform. By providing ongoing training on Volta’s latest products, technologies, applications, and capabilities, we will ensure that our partners remain informed, skilled, and fully up to date.
Through Volta Academy, we aim to empower the sales and technical teams of our business partners, enabling them to identify new opportunities, recommend the right solutions and provide customers with the highest level of professional support. This continued investment in shared knowledge will strengthen our global network and ensure that customers everywhere benefit from Volta’s experience and expertise.
