The harsh acids tend to wear away at the top surface of PVC and standard PU belts.
Juices that are released during processing will not penetrate the homogeneous,thick non-absorbent belt material. No cracking, pitting or crumbling of the belt takes place.

Mesh belts are damage prone which leads to foreign bodies (belt pieces) surfacing in the product flow and a short belt lifetime.
