Dough preparation line for crackers and bagels.
The line was originally equipped with with plied belts that suffered from layer separating and cupping.
The belts were replaced every six months.
Volta Aramid Cord Reinforced (ACR) Belts have so far been working for two years.
The maintenance manager says:
“Although a Volta belt is more expensive than the plied belt,
at the end it turns out cheaper – because the cheap turned out to be expensive for us!”
